Foul Play (2011)

Overview

Foul Play was produced as an independent creative project by producer and director Rob Lewis.  This one is truly a family project and stars not only Rob, but also his daughter Kira, and the family dog Toby.  It represents the spirit of what we believe film making is about and that is having fun and telling a good story.  Foul Play is a unique short film in that there is no dialogue.  It’s a suspenseful piece that will make you think and leaves you contemplating & wanting more.
Synopsis

A drifter bent on an opportunistic crime discovers that his helpless target is not all that she seemed, and winds up in circumstances he could never have imagined.

Production Notes

Principle photography was shot in one day. Footage from a prior rainy day was used along with some b-roll pick-ups shot the following day.  Much of the sound in the film was done as ADR/Foley.  Atmosphere as well as several sound effects were modified from originals sourced from the Free sound Project at freesound.org
